Hello everyone.

Hi all,
I’ll share a recipe that I have made for many clients. This is for adults and kids of all ages (even dogs and cats). They are eardrops to treat otitis media.
This recipe works already with just the olive oil and mullein if you have the rest that is just added bonus.
The herbs can be fresh or dried. Dried has worked very well for me…Read More-
Please, please be careful when using fresh/dried herbs (or aromatherapy) around your furbabies as they do not have the enzymes to break them down as we do, and ingesting (garlic and onions for example) can be toxic to dogs, and so can lavender. Do your research and contact your vet just as you would your medical provider with any questions. As…Read More

Yes, I understand, though another caution is that it is still absorbed into the bloodstream when applied topically. Gotta keep our babies (human and fur) safe!

Merry Meet, Greetings, Hello!
Is anyone else here studying herbal medicine or aromatherapy?-
I did SOME study years ago but I will admit I am quite rusty lately. need to read my own research and brush up! 🤣
-
You have done your own research? May I ask of what? Do you actively use any CAM modalities on a regular basis?
-
Had to google that but yes actually I do! Yoga daily, lots of alternative medicine, healing with foods for my inflammation levels… yeah, I use a lot in my own life but I have forgotten a lot more outside of my own scope 🙁
-
Ooops, sorry about that, I keep forgetting that CAM is not as universally known as I would like, ha! I use a lot for myself, as trial and error in order to help others. My husband is also my “guinea pig” so I have a male perspective on the products in regards to scenting/flavoring and of course only he can try the beard oil and balms.
-
Oh that’s amazing! If you’ve got recipes you’d like to share, let me know and you could be an author here on Luna’s Grimoire 🙂
-
Thank you for the offer! I am working on some formulations that will be shareable. What are you interested in seeing so I know which direction to head? I do basic information and more detailed (supporting various body systems) I need an intake form to protect both sides before I recommend anything personal. Just because an herb or essential oil is…Read More

Whatever direction you want, it would be your own column basically if you’d like. Let me know and I’ll adjust your account when you’re ready 🙂

I am currently studying aromatherapy and herbal medicine. I tend to freak out my coworkers (in the medical field) because they immediately reach form manufactured medications and I’m like, “well if you make a tea out of …. it will help with this”. Honestly, my knowledge in herbs is due to massive amounts of reading. I am by no means an expert.
-
Where are you studying, or on your own? That is awesome! We need to spread the word more and hope people see the truths of plants and their powers. I am by no means an expert either, but learning daily and trying to do my part!

Hi all,
I did my studies in 2004-2006 and became a herbal healer and aromatherapist and certified in several more CAM modalities as they are called now 🙂 (had to look that up as well). I used it in my holistic center for clients who came to me with their illnesses that didn’t get better with regular medicine. Healing percentage at the time was…Read More

Merry meet to you as well! I study herbal medicine. I have since high school. I tend to make salves, tinctures, and various remedies for friends and family. It’s always been a passion of mine ♥️🌱
-
Merry Meet Mardell,
I have been into herbal medicine since the early 2000s. I have used to treat people with my own herbal remedies. Mostly tinctures that I made myself and would mix into a treatment plan. I loved doing that. I still have an apothecary with about 60 single tinctures to mix up when the need arises.
Herbs are great stuff and I…Read More

I bought a pair of compression gloves last week on amazon for the RA pain in my hands, thinking that they may not work… well I didn’t bother with them today and it feels like someone has slammed a hammer on my right hand… If anyone has RA in their hands, please try the gloves. they REALLY do help. 🙏🏼

I’ve had a very weird itchy couple of weeks, and I’ve come up with hives pretty much in small patches everywhere. So last night I took a non-drowsy antihistamine and this morning when I woke up, my right nostril was completely clear and itching has been subdued. I also have a tiny bit of eczema in my scalp which is annoying me now (I’ve had it for…Read More

Nope nothing new… I think it might be a seasonal allergy or maybe stress? I have no clue but when I migrated, I had loads of issues with milk products and bread.
-
Yes, either of those can do it as well. Be sure to support your bodily systems, especially now with all this “junk” going around. I am sorry, I giggled when I ready “migrated” as I immediately thought of a bird. I assume you relocated to your current area at some point?
-
Yes, I lived abroad for 20 years so just getting used to UK environment I guess. It’s very different in the Caribbean! 🌞
-
Interesting. I grew up here in western NY, moved to Florida, then to Maryland. From there my husband and I were over the road for 4+ years. Then we moved back here to WNY, onto my family land I inherited. This is where we have built our house and will be building our Shrine and store.

that’s so cool! that’s the thing about the states, it’s soooo big that you don’t really have to ever leave
-
Yes, o very true. We have made a bucket list of places we would like to return one day. However, I would also like to visit other countries. Now we just need the money and time LOL
-
-
true true!! lol I started working on my store again today. Yes, I will accept your offer, however, once school is back in session I can not guarantee how active/responsive I will be, but will do my absolute best!
